Through Altura Learning, registered training organisations can offer high-quality VET educational resources that will enhance the knowledge of new graduates coming into the aged care sector’s workforce.

The aged care workforce requires a sound understanding of aged care standards and best practices for healthy ageing. A diverse range of skilled workers is also needed to strengthen the sector’s foundation for the coming years.

With over 20 years of experience in the aged care education sector, the learning support resources for the Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) is the latest development to their aged care education suite.

Learner engagement and knowledge retention were focal points during the design process for Renee Costa, Business Development/Product Manager for the VET sector at Altura Learning. She said learners will be highly motivated and engaged thanks to a variety of unique activities, knowledge quizzes and videos.

“Altura Learning’s resources are rich in coursework mapped to current legislation, standards and the qualification. These learning materials are like no other as they are rich in video content creating real-life scenarios for learners,” Ms Costa said.

“The learning resources have been designed to truly support and maximise learner engagement for students studying the Certificate III in Individual Support. The resources provide a solid foundation of knowledge and the activities and video content provides learners with examples of real-life scenarios which maximises learner engagement.”
