Twilight Aged Care has developed a unique recruitment pathway that taps into a talented Nepalese workforce and will offer two-way benefits to Australia and Nepal.

Businesses could find workforce reinforcements in a rich, untapped talent pool of around 113,000 Australians with a disability who are unemployed and looking for work, according to a new report.

The latest report on the operation of the Aged Care Act has been released with the annual document detailing how the government spent its $35.7 billion over 2023-24. 

The aged care pay rise timeline remains unclear after the Australian Government requested that some increases be delayed until as late as October 2027, a far cry from the expected October 2025 date the Fair Work Commission proposed.
