ACH Group announces Linda Feldt as new CEO
Published on 10 April 2024
South Australian not-for-profit aged care services provider ACH Group has appointed Linda Feldt as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following a successful five-month stint as Interim CEO.
Key points
- ACH Group supports more than 9,000 aged care customers and 2,000 employees with services spread across home care, residential care, retirement living, health and wellbeing
- Ms Feldt first joined ACH Group in 2015 as Group Financial Controller before rising through the ranks to Chief Operating Officer in 2023 and is now CEO
- She officially replaces Frank Weits who departed last November after four years of leadership
- An experienced hand in senior commercial, finance and customer roles, Ms Feldt was previously Financial Controller for disability employer Bedford Phoenix and held several roles at agricultural firm Viterra
Ms Feldt’s appointment is arguably unsurprising after the former COO stepped into the Interim CEO role in November 2023. Her performance and impact solidified her standing as ACH Group Chair Imelda Lynch said the Board has been extremely impressed by her work during the transitional period.
“Linda’s strong leadership of our workforce, and connection with customers and other stakeholders, is exceptional,” Ms Lynch said.
“Her depth of experience in the sector is also significant. Since joining ACH Group nine years ago, Linda has led our business and operating model transformation to meet regulatory requirements while ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do.”
Ms Lynch added that ACH Group is about to release a new organisation strategy with a renewed investment in people, services and assets.
“Linda’s energy and expertise are exactly what we need going forward. She is steering our organisation in the right direction, increasing our capability and capacity to support good lives for older people,” she added.
The new strategy may complement their existing approach to well-rounded health and well-being for older people. ACH Group recently opened its newest Health Studio in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs, providing residents and older people in the community with a centre for positive ageing.
Ms Feldt told hello leaders then that the Health Studios are pivotal in enhancing overall well-being and that a passionate approach to empowering and supporting all older people underpins her leadership.
“Every day I am inspired by our customers, residents and workforce. Having the chance to lead ACH Group into our next phase of growth, with a focus on wellness, innovation and connected communities, is hugely exciting,” Ms Feldt said.
“As ACH Group continues to adapt and evolve, I am very optimistic about the opportunities and possibilities to help older people live their best life.”
