Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has finally confirmed that Australia will be heading to the polls for an election on Saturday, May 3.
HSC Technology Group and partners Whiddon, Anchor Excellence and CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, have been awarded an Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) grant with a total value of nearly $400,000 to run a feasibility study using a data analytics platform that combines sensor technology to prevent falls in residential aged care.
Victoria has appointed its first Chief Palliative Care Adviser, Associate Professor Mark Boughey, to lead a refresh of the state’s End of Life and Palliative Care Framework. The six-month role will focus on modernising policy, strengthening services, and ensuring all Victorians have access to compassionate, high-quality care.
Aged care providers will need to adopt a multi-faceted approach to staffing and training which involves targeted rostering to deal with the Federal Government’s new 24/7 nursing requirements.
